Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of leadership, work motivation, and compensation on employee performance at PT. Rajawali Tambang Indonesia (RTI), a company operating in the mining contractor sector. The study employed a mixed-method approach with an explanatory design combining quantitative and qualitative analyses. Data were collected through questionnaires and observations involving 43 permanent employees of PT. RTI. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results show that leadership, work motivation, and compensation significantly affect employee performance, with an R² value of 0.851, indicating that 85.1% of the variation in the dependent variable is explained by the independent variables in the model. Leadership has a positive effect with a coefficient of 0.310 (p = 0.001), work motivation has a stronger effect with a coefficient of 0.577 (p = 0.000), and compensation has a positive effect with a coefficient of 0.175 (p = 0.018). This study makes an important contribution to human resource management in mining contractor companies and recommends improving employee performance through more effective leadership, appropriate work motivation, and adequate compensation.
