Abstract

Environmental management is a responsibility that has been given to the state. Development patterns in managing ideal tourism potential should be supported by knowledge and skills of human resources, as well as community participation in implementing tourism management policies which include financing, licensing, planning and evaluation. this is the authority of the government in its implementation as well as in developing objects and potentials. Tourism development is crucial, considering that the benefits that can be taken from tourism are quite a lot, including creating jobs, increasing and equalizing people's income, and no less important is contributing to local revenue. The concept of environmental development and arrangement based on revitalization and conservation is a priority, mangroves are an example of a plant that has great potential in ecotourism development because their types and growth have distinctive characteristics and the growing area can be developed as an educational tourism area. Integrated coastal management contains principles related to the management of coastal and marine resources, both inter-sectoral and statutory regulations with an effort to share the right goals, values, ​​and targets in development which are formulated in the formulation of rules considering the importance of mangrove forests for the survival of the community's environment., a solution to overcome the problems that have occurred in the mangrove ecosystem. including the need for land conservation, reforestation, spatial management, and strict legal sanctions.
